The Blue Horizons feature in the May 2009 issue of Blue Water Sailing magazine was written by Anchorage members Paul and Susan Herer of Whaat's Up?  This is found on page 96, and is about a small harbor on the island of Amorgos, Greece which was visited by them on two occasions when sailing in the Aegean.

Ahoy sailors!

The next patio party is following racing on July 9th!  Join us for fun and camaraderie!

We are considering a swap meet at Larsen Marine to be held on March 21. The attempt here is for boaters to get together, swap stories, buy, sell and or trade stuff . I will keep everyone informed as we finalize plans . The key here is participation everyone is invited, my question to all is will you participate?

Bring out that old anchor, and the A - Chute from your first boat, what about that shackle that always nods at you from the coffee can whenever you go in the garage. The last time I was in my lazarette I found some barient 18 winches. I think you get the Idea.

In a perfect world people would e- mail me at  This email address is being protected from spambots. There may even be enough time to have a beef stew contest....sort of like a chili cookoff but beef stew instead.

If you think that this is a good Idea drop me a line and let me know that you want to do this so that I can finalize the plans.
