September 21st Race/Lunch to Winthrop Harbor

The last AYC race for 2019 is on Saturday, September 21st.  It is an informal (reverse handicap start) race to Winthrop Harbor where all will meet for lunch at Tropics restaurant.  Cruise back to Waukegan on your own after lunch.  No fee or registration required.  Although, an RSVP is requested for lunch reservations.

Here are the basics:

  • Saturday, September 21, 2019

  • Skippers Meeting: 9:00 am Waukegan Harbor Office Patio

  • Course:  Start between #3 Green Bell Buoy and Waukegan Light; Finish at Winthrop Harbor North Jetty; Distance 7.8 NM

  • Sections for Jib & Main and Spinnaker. 

  • Start times will be established based on handicap at the skippers meeting.  First start time 10:00 - 10:30 am
