"Bad Stuff on Boats"

Yacht Surveyor/Sailor Marian Lambrecht presents her collection of the "less fortunate" boats witnessed during her surveying career

Marian is a U.S.C.G. licensed captain, advanced diver and the only female yacht surveyor in the Midwest. She is only one of 20 women surveyors in the small group of about 1,500 worldwide. On Tuesday, January 12 at 7 p.m. she’ll present “Bad Stuff on Boats,” her collection of the bizarre, ugly and just plain bad boat conditions she’s witnessed during her surveying career. Holed, cracked and wet keels, hulls and decks is only the beginning of this sobering collection of photos and stories. The emphasis will be on sailboats, a reflection of Marian's amateur racing career, which spans 25 years and four countries. The session will be interactive so the group can comment and ask questions throughout the 45-minute presentation.
